Ahoy, We’re sailing!! Finally the wind came back and we set our sails. The first few hours we had the Spinacker up. It’s so nice to sail in the first breeze after a big calm, with almost no waves. It’s so smooth and efficient. Of course I spilled my beer! Almost 3 days with an even boat makes you forget that usually you can’t just put things on the table without securing or at least watching it.
Now the Spinnacker is down and genoa and staysail are back at work. The sea is still pretty calm and we enjoy the silent sounds of the water passing by. The whole day was sunny and dry and I think we both got a little sunburned.
Fay baked a cake yesterday. Yummie!! I can’t wait to have another piece for breakfast tomorrow. Life is good on ZERO and we make good way to California..
