Ahoy, after an extraordinary time in Coos bay with our new friends Toni &Niki I’m standing in front of the blue heron restaurant to get some wifi for the last weather forecast before we leave this awesome place and point ZERO s bow south.

This little City welcomed us with so much Aloha and it’s hard for us to leave but weather isn’t getting any better and we all agreed to have some sun in San Fransisco..
Thanks to coos bay for your hospitality, thanks to the visitors center for that awesome welcome sign and thanks to the outstanding people Toni and Niki for adding unforgettable memories and 2 new friends to our salty souls..

If one of you sailors ever make it to coos bay say hello to them, enjoy this lovely place and spend Capt. Rob on his boat Summer Wind a glass of red wine to start a long conversation about sailing!

We’ll for sure miss you all!

Aloha

  1. Aloha Christian and Rebecca,,
you look different without your beard., but it looks well. The view of Coos Bay is very beautiful. We hope you are fine.
Anna and I are sitting on my couch and watching the boys (Nils and his friend) play soccer. We are all fine. We have a big project with our yoothhouse on the island. We want to change it and make it much better than yet. It is more clearly than before and there is more place to live in it. We creat it very well. It looks like a perfect beach house for us :).
We are on holiday and have so much time for shopping and so on. . Anna and I sailing the 420er (Pico/ReFa) and we have so much fun together, but the sailing time is over now, and we are very sad about it. Framks and Marias engagement party was so wonderful and emotional. We are all sad about their flight to Marias home.
Markus feels good, too. In this year he broke his collarbone fracture. And he couldn’t sail the first time of the season, but now everything is okay. But after his accident and his fracture he could sail a few days. And now he is studying. And Maike (Annas sister) also wanted to sail, but she doesn’t like it because she is scared about it.
We wish you a good time and hope you’ll feel good. We miss you, too.
Greetings from the Cool Girls (Neele and Anna)

    1. Ahoy Nele, thanks for the long letter. Good to hear that you enjoy sailing and have found a good friend to share the passion in the 420. I sailed that boat many years and have tons of good memories about that time.
What are the plans for the youth cabin? Good that you use it.. that’s why we have it.
Tell Markus he is a “Kaot” and should better take more care about his health..
I will meet Frank soon. Probably in a couple days. We just have to wait until the storm is over and then sail to San Francisco..
Say hello to all the others ..
      Christian
